Cookie and Local Storage Policy
Last updated: 3 November 2026.
This policy describes cookies and other browser storage on be-lux.hr and be-lux.com. The controller is Be-lux oprema d.o.o., Kamenarka 28, 10010 Zagreb, Croatia, info@be-lux.hr. For other information about personal data, recipients, transfers and your rights, see our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies and local storage?
Cookies are small values a website stores in your browser and which your browser returns with relevant requests. Session cookies normally last until the session ends; persistent cookies remain until expiry or deletion. Session restoration in a browser may also preserve some session cookies.
localStorage and sessionStorage are other ways of storing information on your device. localStorage has no automatic expiry unless the website implements one; sessionStorage lasts for the tab session. Device storage rules apply to technologies beyond those called “cookies”.
2. Your choice and the legal basis
The banner lets you accept all optional categories, reject them or manage individual settings. You can change your choice through the permanent “Cookie settings” link in the footer. You may withdraw consent; this does not affect the lawfulness of previous processing. Choices are stored separately for each browser, device and domain. A choice on be-lux.hr is not automatically transferred to be-lux.com.
Optional statistics, advertising functions and external videos rely on consent under GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and Article 43(4) of the Croatian Electronic Communications Act. Operations solely needed to transmit a communication or strictly necessary for a service you explicitly request fall within the statutory consent exception. Personal data needed for security and basic website operation is processed for the relevant legitimate interests explained in the Privacy Policy. Legitimate interests do not themselves replace consent where consent is required to access your device.
The description below also includes automatic local storage of form entries and advertising click identifiers that is currently outside the category switches. Rejecting optional cookies does not delete these local records.
3. Technical cookies on the domain you visit
These are first-party cookies used by Be-lux and its technical infrastructure, including hosting provider Webtasy. Which cookies appear depends on the functions used; they are not all set on every visit.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
session- | Session identifier linking technical requests and supporting forms. | Browser session. |
PH_HPXY_CHECK | Technical check within the hosting infrastructure, associated with access protection. | Browser session. |
timezone | Stores the browser time zone used by the platform. | 30 days. |
cookie-preference | Remembers that a cookie choice has been saved. | 30 days. |
cookie-config-hash | Detects changes to the available cookie configuration so a new choice can be requested when needed. | 30 days. |
4. Optional categories and their preference records
| Category / name | Purpose and provider | Preference duration |
|---|---|---|
Statistics: google-analytics-enabled | Be-lux's record of your permission for Google Analytics. | 30 days. |
Marketing: google-ads-enabled | Be-lux's permission record communicating choices about advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalisation to the Google tag. The record itself does not show that a particular advertising campaign is running. | 30 days. |
Comfort / video content: youtube-video | Be-lux's permission record for loading an embedded YouTube player. | 30 days. |
Comfort / video content: vimeo-video | A permission offered by the standard preference manager for Vimeo. Choosing it does not itself load Vimeo; no active Vimeo player was found in the reviewed content. | 30 days. |
These records are stored by our domain. Third parties receive data when their service or content loads, rather than simply because their name appears in a preference record. The Google script can load when you allow statistics or marketing; individual purposes depend on the relevant choices. If neither category is allowed, the script does not load on a fresh page load.
5. Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4, tag G-30H82Z25G6, to understand visits and catalogue use. The EEA provider is Google Ireland Limited, Ireland, with affiliated providers including Google LLC in the United States. Processing can include browser identifiers, pages viewed, events, referral source and general device and location information. An IP address is needed for network transmission; the data is not therefore entirely anonymous.
| Name on our domain | Purpose | Browser duration |
|---|---|---|
_swag_ga_ga | Distinguishes browsers or visitors using a pseudonymous identifier. | Google's default is up to 2 years, subject to shorter browser limits; the Chromium check on 3 November 2026 recorded 400 days. |
_swag_ga_ga_30H82Z25G6 | Maintains session state for this Analytics tag. | Likewise: up to 2 years by default, 400 days observed; other browsers may impose shorter periods. |
Visits can renew cookie expiry according to the service's operation. These periods are different from retention of events on Google's servers. Retention of event and user records depends on the Analytics property setting; standard GA4 properties offer 2 or 14 months, with a possible reset of user identifier retention on new activity. Aggregated reports are not limited by that setting. See the Privacy Policy for further information and contact info@be-lux.hr to ask about the current setting.

6. Local and session storage
| Name / technology | What is stored and why | Duration and controls |
|---|---|---|
cms-form-contact.*localStorage | Contact form entries, such as your name, email and message, to restore a draft after a refresh. Entries are stored locally while you type; pressing the submit button sends the enquiry to our company. | No preset time expiry. The platform removes stored entries when the form is submitted or reset; you can also remove them by clearing the website's data in your browser. Closing the browser alone is insufficient. |
cart-widget-template, empty-cart-widgetlocalStorage | Cached presentation of a platform component. These records do not by themselves mean that a purchase was made. | No preset time expiry; until replaced, removed by the platform or cleared with website data. |
electrolux-product-comparisonsessionStorage | Identifiers of products you select for comparison. | Until the selection is removed or the tab session ends. |
google-analytics-01a011059a66722d92466d8844249602-gclidlocalStorage | An advertising click identifier where an incoming link contains a gclid parameter, for associating a referral source. It is created only when the link contains that identifier. | No preset time expiry; until replaced or cleared with website data. In the current implementation the identifier is saved before consent categories are checked. |
These records are used by our website on the domain you visit. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to see a locally saved draft. Clear the website's data after use on a shared device. If localStorage is unavailable, the platform can fall back to sessionStorage or cookies for some records. Local storage is not automatically “necessary” merely because it is not a cookie.
7. Videos and Google Maps
A local notice replaces the YouTube player until you allow video loading. Permission loads a player from youtube-nocookie.com. This is YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, but it does not mean the provider receives no data: connecting sends your IP address and technical information, and playback can involve the provider's own storage and interaction processing. The exact records depend on playback, Google login and browser state; Google controls their duration under its cookie information. Withdrawing permission removes the loaded player; existing records on third-party domains may need to be cleared in your browser.
The Google Maps link on the contact page opens an external map. There is no embedded map, and the link's presence alone does not load Google Maps. Its own rules apply after you open the service.
8. Changing your choice and deleting data
Open “Cookie settings” in the footer, disable the relevant categories and save your choice. Reload the page where needed to close previously loaded connections to external services. Rejecting optional categories does not prevent browsing the basic catalogue or sending an enquiry; external videos may remain blocked.
Your browser settings let you delete cookies and other website data separately and block future storage. Deleting cookies alone may not remove localStorage. Blocking technical records can affect forms and remembering choices. Clearing website data may show the banner again, but it does not automatically delete information lawfully sent to an external provider earlier. To exercise rights over such information, use the contacts in the Privacy Policy.
9. Updates and applicable rules
This inventory is based on a review of the websites and their implementation on 3 November 2026. Not every listed value is set on every visit; choices, browser and functions used affect the records. The inventory must be updated before introducing services or changing purposes. Relevant rules include the GDPR, Croatia's GDPR Implementation Act and Article 43(4) of the Croatian Electronic Communications Act. Further information is available from AZOP on cookie-related personal data processing.
